LaVision uses a state-of-the-art neural network human detection model which utilizes Tensorflow and OpenCV and determines with near perfect accuracy the number of people at a given facility, from snapshots captured by a webcam.
The DragonBoard 410c is a development board build by Qualcomm, which captures live webcam footage for LaVision to process.
Data is collected to provide accurate statistics for users to determine the facility they wish to attend, while respecting the privacy of citizens by blurring the faces of individuals in the image.
